Stealth Limiter and Brickwall Limiter

Postby neil.cummins1 » Tue Mar 05, 2019 6:54 pm

Hi Experts,
What are the merits of using these two plugins either individually or as a chain when mastering?

Is it valid to use eg the Stealth Limiter then the Brickwall limiter as the final chain processor to achieve an overall aim,or do they fundamentally just do the same job?

Any comments/suggestions welcome.

The Stealth Limiter is more transparent and to me that’s a plus for the final limiter in the chain. I would not recommend using both.

You can get a bit more “character” out of the brickwall but personally I like the Stealth Limiter more.
