Hiding unowned plugins

Postby larryrhall » Tue Feb 19, 2019 5:37 pm

When I open my list of IK M plugins in Logic, I see a huge list of plugins I don't yet own. Is there a way to hide those so I only see the ones I own?

Hi larryrhall and welcome to the forum.

Yes there is. In Logic, go to the Logic Pro X menu and then Preferences>Plug-in Manager...
This will open the list of all of the plugins installed on your system that Logic can see. On the right-hand side of the window, there is a column called "Use" with tick boxes to tell Logic which plugins to have ready in the main window of the DAW. Un-tick any you don't want to see in Logic.

You may have to re-start Logic, although I've just tried it here and, after it paused to update the CoreAudio driver, it had quite happily forgotten the plugin I wanted it to.

Let us know if you get any problems.
