Dave Way presets

Postby yennek » Mon Jan 15, 2018 12:03 am

Hello All,
I just downloaded the 'Dave's Way Presets', but how do I use the Dave Way presets in my T-RacKS 5 plugins?

Thanks

Can anyone help on how to load Dave's way presets in T-RackS 5, I am sure this is nothing to most of you out there, this is new to me and I am new to IK Multimedia.

Where exactly did you download them from? I can't find them in my User Area.

Here is the link: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/tr ... m_id=13118

This at the end of that link, telling you where to go: *Please Note: Presets are available for all users who have downloaded and authorized T-RackS 5 Custom Shop, T-RackS 5, T-RackS 5 Deluxe or T-RackS 5 MAX and can be downloaded from their User Area.

To download & install the presets, go to your User Area, My Products. Under either 'T-Racks 5 Custom Shop' or 'T-Racks 5 Max' (if you have it) you will see a sub-heading called 'Signature Presets'. You will find them under there. The Windows package is a zip file. Extract the executable from the zip file and install.

On windows 7 here, there are installed in:
...\Documents\IK Multimedia\T-RackS 5\Presets\Global\Engineer Series

You will see that they are "Global" presets and are loaded through the Global presets menu in the TR5 standalone program or the TR5 Suite plug-in:

NB: There are presets from other engineers too - make sure you download and install them. And, the presets use a wide range of FX and you may not have all the FX included in them.

Thank you very much for that help, I was able to find them in the stand alone. The TR5 suite you mentioned is that different basic TR5?

TR5 Suite is one of the plug-ins. It is the slightly cut-down version of the standalone TR5 program, allowing you to chain up to 16 processors and also perform parallel processing.

I think that it is included in all TR5 products (not the individual plug-ins, obviously).

Hi.
So will any of these Engineers Presets work with "One" or do you need the full tracks 5 bundle to get them to work.
Just funny how they are added to the "One" download area but dont seem to be available in the one plugin.
I also tried to use them them in the Suite but to no avail. I have only the Classic EQ,One and Classic Compressor 670 and other bits and pieces.

Thanks for your help.

You would need the gear that is used in the presets. It will vary. However, you can try each processor via Custom Shop.

PS: it would be best to change your Account Name away from an email address, to minimise the chance of it being harvested by web bots and you receiving all sorts of 'special offers' etc from all over the place for years and years. You can change it here:.
