Purchased T-RackS Max plugins blacklisted in Cubase

Postby mambretz@gmail.com » Mon Feb 06, 2023 11:27 am

Hi everyone,
In Dec 2022 I've purchased and registered T-Racks Max.
When I tried to use some of the included plugins in my Cubase 9.5 it came out they're all blacklisted, and if I try to reactivate a message tells me to contact the plugin producer...

Plus, I've noticed that for Cubase they're all VST version 2, not 3. Why is that? Maybe this is the problem?

I've tried some advices for ex. to manually delete the file vstblacklist.xml but I can't find it anywhere (vst 2 or 3 either) in my Mac OS 10.11.6.
Some other say to use VST 3 and it works fine, but my Cubase seem to see only ver. 2 of the T-RackS plugins, although I've found ver. 3 and tried to link it.

Please: anyone can help?

You can remove the blacklist from the plugin from inside the GUI in cubase 9.5.

You really should only install VST3 into cubase 9 and higher these days.
