Miroslav sounds pathway

Postby danamartin21 » Sat Sep 24, 2022 3:01 am

Hey, folks. I could use some help defining the sounds pathway. I appear to have forgotten all my DOS in my old age.
I've reinstalled Miroslav after a few years and I cant seem to find the correct pathway for the samples. If Miroslav is on C drive, can I install the sound samples from a different drive? To which folder should they be directed?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can install them on a different disk drive.

Do you mean the original Philharmonik ("MP1") or the second generation ("MP2")?

If this is the only IK Multimedia sounds library that you want to use, create a folder on your disk, e.g. X:/IK Multimedia/Philharmonik

Run the MP software and select that folder in its Preference Settings

Run the MP sounds installer(s) - it should pick up that folder (from the Settings) but if not then select it.

More details of the library folder hierarchies are here: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1239
