Hi,

I have an EWI and want to control articulations from miroslav Philharmonik 2 with a foot controller. Is it possible ? do you have something already in use you can recommend ?

Any halp is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

In Miroslav Philharmonik 2, Articulations are changed by the reception of MIDI note event values that are outside the normal range for the given instrument.

When you say “Foot controller”, I am assuming you mean a foot switch - that is either on or off.

Whether what you are asking is possible, would depend on the foot switch and the type of MIDI event it actually generates. Usually, foot switches are mapped to MIDI CC64 (which is sustain) to generate the two discrete values of 0 and 127 (corresponding to pedal up and down respectively)

Maybe what you could do as grab a second MIDI controller or maybe even a drum pad controller and map it’s various pads to send the notes required to trigger the various Miroslav Philharmonik 2 articulations.
