SampleTank created a partition on my disk? [Resolved]

It looks like sample tank created its own partition on my disk!? Seems unacceptable. How do I get rid of that? MacOS

No, SampleTank does not do that.

But without any details we would only be guessing at what has happened.

As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chime in [#]. Meanwhile, the best thing to do is check the FAQs, via here. If they do not resolve the issue, there is a link to the Technical Support form, for some one to one investigation and help. Please let Support have as many details as you can - what steps you took and what the results were. Got it figured out. Now if there was just a way to delete this post...

But, first, we would be interested to hear how you resolved the problem, as other users may be concerned..

After some initial concern I realized the installer was mounted as a separate file system, show in Finder. I just unmounted it from the little unmount button.
