ST4 orchestral percussion samples with long lag time

Hello,

I have ST4 MAX and recently I noticed that several samples from Orchestral Percussion take a long time to produce any sound. For example, in the Moderato Const kit1 84 bpm the keys E1, F1, A2, B2 and C2 produce sound after several seconds while pressing the key. Is this normal?

Hello r.ofman and welcome to the forums.

It's the same with me. By the sounds of it (and other construction kits in Orchestral Percussion) the sample on C1 is the whole performance and then the rest of them are the constituent parts of the same, so you can breakdown the arrangement.
