I recently purchased ST4 and installation has been a nightmare and I still have problems with full installation. The problems seem to be largely related to incorporation of ST3 files into ST4 which is I believe a previously recognised problem with ST4.
At present , with my ST4 installation, a large number of the ST3 sounds are failing to load and subject to an error window and also the demo files, although visible on screen, will not load and are thefore silent. I think the problems I have are related to installation criteria so I wonder whether anyone has a detailed listing of procedures necessary to complete installation satisfactorily.
I would appreciate any help available. Thank you
