Moving Syntronik to new PC

Postby PerryD » Mon Jan 07, 2019 6:57 am

I just built a new Win 10 pro PC. I successfully installed AmpliTube and MODO (and dozens of other libraries). I am having issues with Syntronik library content. I saved the 57 gb library file from my old PC. Moved it to my new samples drive. I reinstalled Syntronik and the multis from IK. I set my new library path in settings but it is not recognized by Syntronik. "Not a Sampletank path". Do I just need to change the name of the sample folder? Thanks for any help!

The folders for the Instruments and Samples need to reside in an overall SampleTank folder.

In your case, I would imagine the file structure should be:

SampleDrive>IK Multimedia>SampleTank 3>[and then contain the instrument and samples folders etc]

Then you will just point Syntronik to the SampleTank 3 folder level and you should be good to go. DON'T change the names of the Instrument or Samples folders.

Hope that helps.
