Late starting loops

In Pro Tools, drum loops often are not starting on the downbeat. Currently seeing this with Neil Peart grooves. When changing to another part, the sample sometimes begins late, throwing all off beat. Replaying sometimes resolves the issue, but it may happen again. Any ideas to help...? Thanks
