Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Have you let support know their suggestions have not worked for you and you have the same issue with a replacement from your dealer? They'll happily continue to assist you and get you up and running.

I am beginning to think that there are two issues here. One being the firmware update not taking and the other being the M1 Mac maybe being binary incompatible with the Logic Pro plugin for providing the control surfaces.

I also mentioned this in the case I have.

Has anyone gotten the Logic plugin to work on an M1 Macbook Air or other M1 device? Has anyone been able to update a iRig Keys I/O 49 to the most recent firmware on an M1 mac?

I'm approaching a month of ownership now with my iRig Keys I/O 25, and I still haven't gotten a solution from support on how to get its firmware updated on my M1 MacBook Pro.
Now I wish I hadn't waited on support and surpassed my return window.

I have keys 49 i/o on my Mac mini M1 and I can’t update the firmware. Also my preset is on f01 and is supposed to be F02. Any ideas how to change the preset?

I am also experiencing the same issue and have opened a support ticket. Just got an I/O 49 today from IK direct for the group buy and am using windows 10 home with the latest updates. Sounds like this is an issue with the updater. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Same problem, mac and windows, can not update firmware, device will not work in iphone/ipad mode with power supply.

Same issue here. Never could get it to really work on Mac in general for the last 2-3 years (or whenever it came out).

Works great on iOS devices. But now, trying to update it, it's stuck and I'm dead in the water.

I honestly would like to have a full (or even half) refund since it never worked on Mac for me (I have plenty of unhelpful tickets to prove it).

Maybe it would have been best served as *just an iOS keyboard?

Either way, very disappointing and frustrating.

I've now wasted 2 hours (this time around) trying to get back online with various firmware updates.

Same problem here on Win 10, 1 week-old Irig Keys I/O 49. I'm trying to update the firmware because the keyboard is constantly loosing connection, and I not only have to unplug and replug, but also close and reopen the host application. It's a pain to use.
Already submitted a support ticket.. Below is my logfile.. Agree, disappointing and frustrating.
