I have an iRig Pre 2, which has a TRRS cable to connect it to a phone or tablet. However I don't want to use the iRig to connect to those devices. Instead I want to use the iRig as a phantom power source for a condenser microphone which will then go to a mixing desk with XLR inputs. I would like to know if a TRRS-XLR converter will cause any problems (in other words, TRRS female to XLR male).
Any suggestions gratefully received on this! thanks in advance.
