Issue with iRig USB

I have an iRig USB and a MacBook. I have connected via USB C. I can hear computer audio but not the sound of the guitar. I have adjusted the gain knob and the input/output settings on the computer. My DAW shows the input is active and I can actually record the guitar and play it back, but I can't monitor while I'm playing. Help!
