Recommendation aby splitter for dual tonex setup

Hey Tonex Fans, need some recommendation for an ABY splitter before the tonex pedal. Should it have a buffer or a not? Thanks for help

I recently got an ART CoolSwitchPro Isolated A/B-Y Switch for my dual amp set up. I'll use it with real tube amps, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with Tonex. Although it has many features like isolation transformers and ground lifts that might not be necessary for amp-less set ups, so you may want to get something simpler, but it might be helpful in case you do want to use it with real amps too.
