Please help beginner with iRig HD2 and amplitube 4

Postby Diddlybo » Tue May 18, 2021 2:54 am

Just bought the iRig HD2 to use on a Dell laptop.

I'm a complete noob at this. I have never used any sort of software based recording devices. Ever. As you could probably guess, I'm an old guy.

I bought the iRig HD2 because it comes with Amplitube 4 and I want to do some simple guitar recording. Amplitube 4 comes with a simple DAW, I was planning to use that to record guitar.

The iRig comes with no instructions. I downloaded a manual but its not much help. No idea what I'm supposed to do first.

So basically, I have a device here with no idea what to do with it.

I've reached out multiple times to IK but so far they have been no help.

Any help? Can someone help me to get started with this product?

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

This is primarily a user to user forum, but as no other users have chipped in to help you, the best thing to do is contact Support, via here. There is a link at the top of the Search FAQs page to the Technical Support form, for some one to one help. Be sure to tell them what you want to achieve, what you have done so far and what problems you have run into.

Response time aims to be within 2 working days (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally), but in the current circumstances please allow some more time.
