Faulty key?

I recently bought an irig keys 2 pro and have noticed that the leftmost D does not respond reliably. It’s ok when struck firmly but not when played normally which makes me think it’s faulty. All other keys work fine. Is there anything else I can try before returning it? I’ve tried a reset via edit mode and that doesn’t do anything. I’ve also tried using different software and connecting to an iPhone as well as iPad. The problem persists with all of these.
