iRig Stomp I/O non-IK power supply

Postby emredjan » Fri Mar 01, 2019 11:35 am

Hi,

Is it possible to power the stomp i/o with a 3rd party power supply / power distributor? I want to use a single PSU to power all my pedals / equipment and carrying around an additional adapter seems wasteful.

The connector is pretty non-standard as far as I see, but even if I find a suitable connector, would it cause any problems with the unit's operation?

It is not recommended, I would recommend contacting IK Support for official information so there's no issue down the road with warranty or whatnot and they'll know 100% what you can and cannot use.

Hello,
I just ordered a travel sector adapter. Normally, it should be OK with it.
I can understand that IK can't throw dozens of adapters in the box... yet those found in there are pretty exotic. ;-)
