Axe I/O not recognized in Amplitube 4

I had to re download AMP 4 on my new laptop and when my AXE I/O is plugged in to the computer is not recognized in MIDI setup. in both input and output device. I have replaced the USB cord and updated the control panel. I have no idea what to do at this point [mod redacted - please review the rules when posting]
