iRig USB PC Connection

Hello Guys,

I have freshly bought iRig USB Interface.
I would like to connect the device to my PC, unfortunately it has only USB A Type (not C).
I am using an USB A to USB C connector instead of originally included USB C cable, but sadly my PC doesn't recognize the device.
I have installed ASIO Drivers from IK website and AmpliTube 5 Software.
In Audio-Midi Settings have choosen ASIO and selected "IRIG Device" in Input Setting (so somehow the device-name shows up) but get constantly error "No device is connected to PC".
I am using Windows 11.
Signal light on the case of IRIG lights blue, so theorically should everything work.
Is this possible, that it is'nt compatible with USB Type A on my PC?

IK Multimedia iRig Device Control Panel Status:
IRIG Device - no devices connected
Current sample rate - none
Driver Info - none
Any ideas?
I have reinstalled ASIO Audio Driver via IK Multimedia Product Manager:
Rig USB ASIO Driver for Windows (v.5.58.0)
... nothing has changed.

I have the same problem with a fully authorised iRig Keys 37.

The lights are on but there is no sound.

Hi, I found the solution. You have to be sure that the usb cable you are using is for transfer data and not only for charging. I try several times until I change my cable ( is a usb c and usb A like yours) and it works.

Another thing I have found is you have to actually be streaming for the irig to work. This is not true in all cases but assuming you have all your settings correct...you won't hear anything but as soon as you start your stream like on tiktok live then it will start working and the blue light with then turn green for good signal or red for clipped signal.

I am having the same issue i have used 5-6 different USB c to USB a wires and when i plug them in the light turns blue yet on the IRIG control panel it says no devices found.I installed the needed windows diver and still cannot seen to get the IRIG to show up on devices not even in my PC sound settings. I am using windows 11 so that should work.The DAW i am trying to use is Cakewalk and i set the driver to the correct one and still nothing. For some reason the device is not being recognized by the PC is there anyway to fix this before I return this product and just buy a MIDI?
