Tips on the Axe I/O and Headrush 12?

Hey all,

Any tips on the correct way to connect the Axe I/O to a Headrush 12?
I did the quick and dirty way from the headphone jack to Input 1 with 1/4" guitar cable
Was OK but felt a little thick and muddy......suggestions for a better and correct way to connect the two ??
