I'm shopping for an audio interface and iRig stream might just be the perfect product for me - if it allows me to monitor computer output from the headphone attached with loopback OFF.
My use case is to combine line-in and headphone's mic with the interface and send it to the computer - Zoom to be exact; since I will be wearing the headphone, I need to be able to hear people on the other side of Zoom from the same headphone, i.e. set Zoom's output to the interface. However, turning loopback on won't work because whatever I hear other people say, will go back to Zoom (as that's what loopback does) and cause an echo on the other side.
Does anyone know if this setup will work?
