I've seen lots of posts showing how to hide locked/unpaid gear in AmpliTube. I have a related, but different question: Is there a way to hide licensed gear? I use a limited amount of the gear provided by AT5 + some collections I've bought. When I want to create a new sound, I have to wade through tons of metal heads, 2x15 cabs, etc. that I never use to get to the stuff I use on a regular basis. The same is true of effects: I only use 4-5 of them, but AT offers dozens. Yes, I can collapse the folders but there are so many of them that I still can't show the items I regularly use in the side menu. I would like to hide all the (personally) unused items -- or better yet, remove them to make the installation smaller.
I figured out how to do a similar thing with SampleTank: 1) load the full program; 2) delete the unused samples and instruments from the libraries; and 3) re-scan the instrument list in ST. I now have a working version with just strings, brass/woodwinds, and vocals -- exactly what I use ST for in my setup. Is there a similar thing that I could do with AmpliTube?
