I try use tonex with akg k240 mkII and audio technica ath-m40x and with booth the tone of tonex pedal its bad, lifeless, dull and unnatural. I setting EQ, Volume, compressor. Buy some high quality presets and the resolt is the same. Conneceted tonex pedal to a focusrite solo interface and the resolve is the same. BAD BAD BAD TONE.Is there any magic trick, global setting, or secret tip that makes the TONEX Pedal sound good with headphones?
I have a big tube amp with perfect tone and I bought tonex to use with headphone at night or time when I need to be quiet. I'm very frustrated with tonex pedal
I bought tonex pedal and it came with first firmware version and I upgrade by tonex app to the latest. I don't know if this BIG firmware jump can cause any bug that cause sou bad tone

I’m sure you’ve already tried this but reverb helps a lot with headphones. Try the room with some pre-delay. I would also suggest experimenting with the input gain. That has had the biggest impact on the overall quality of tone in my experience. If you have open-back headphones, give those a try. I will say that I’ve never been totally satisfied with guitar through headphones. I think having the sound aimed directly at your ears is not ideal.
