Hi,
I have a question about my pedalboard into the DAW.
I know there's no rules about sound (good sound means good sound), but I want to have your opinion.
I have pedals and pedals (amp sim):
Pedals: Mini Tube screamer , Delay EP Dunlop, Wet reverb
Pedals amp in a box : Diezel VH4 (based on Diezel amp), HRM v2 (based on Dumble amp): both very open and large sound (as a pedal) and a bit weak feeling Westminster 2716 (MesaB DuaR)
I use these pedals into my DAW because they have good sound and dynamic, textures, feelings.
The pedals > amp sim > cab sim
But what about the pedal amp-in-a-box? These pedals>Cab sim or amp sim>cab sim.
IMO, as they already have the texture of the amp , they don't need to go again into amp sim (more disto or gain)
Do you have any kind of experience like this?
