Can't import my backup???

I adjusted a few The Studio Rats profiles. They stored to the pedal in assigned location. I exported my current pedal assignment a file. Wanted to test the backup, therefore I imported my back up file. It cannot import and gives me an error that it contains something I don't own.
My question is premium tones can they be changed then saved to an export?.

Did you use the Backup/Restore Library functions in TONEX settings?

Anniversary edition. Editing IK Partners Tone Models
1. Example changed 0A added chorus, reverb in TONEX EDITOR.
2. Exported in TONEX EDITOR TO A FILE NAMED XXX.
3. In in TONEX EDITOR tried to import FILE NAMED XXX.
4. Say overwrite I say YES.
5. Now gives error Failed to import the pedal library. Some include tone models are not authorized on your system.
6. Everything is registered I checked.
If I cant alter IK Partners Tone Models and save the changes to a backup what is the point of paying extra for good tones if I cant export them.

You can move them to and from your pedal, yes. If you need to back up your library you can use the built-in backup and restore function.

If this isn't what you need to do, please raise a ticket with IK Support via https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw but note that you can't export paid Premium Tone Models/Tone Partner Tone Models directly to share everywhere.
