Direct to PA help

Hi, just received my tonex a couple days ago. Aside from it not connecting to my computer anymore after the first use I’ve only got one issue..and it’s user error. When I play the tonex through my EV PXM-12 monitor with the DSP set to the Guitarcab setting, the tones are great. It If I try and go through my PA system (Neve DI into A&H digital mixer into RCF tower system) it sounds like crap. Incredibly shrill. I have everything set flat on the mixers channel. I had the cab on in the tonex. I tried it without the cab just for fun and it was about the same. Even in my monitor it set to monitor or tripod it sounds terrible. Only sounds good on the guitarcab setting that’s on my monitor. How in the heck do people use these properly in a live setting through a pa? Am I supposed to apply some crazy amount of some special eq to this thing? Please help! Thanks
