The problem I am trying to solve it to take the output of Amplitube5 into a single windows audio source that I can send to another app. I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th gen) as my interface. My Scarlett output is going to my monitors. If I use ASIO and set my input and output as my Scarlett everything works great. I can set the buffer to 32 and there is no perceivable delay and audio quality is amazing. The problem is I can't select a different output when using ASIO so this feels like a "closed loop" with no way to send the output from Amplitube to anything other than my interface.
The problems start when I select anything other than ASIO. When I choose any Windows Audio option I can choose Analogue 1+2 (Focusrite) as input and a different output (using VB-Audio products both CABLE input or Voicemeeter Aux in) and both work but the latency is like half a second and is impossible to play with not to mention the audio quality is significantly degraded. The delay is definitely due to the Windows Audio option in Amplitube because if I select my speakers as the output device the delay is still there (no other software in the middle other than windows).
I'm toying with the idea of just running my headphone out on my interface to my sound cards aux in but I don't love the idea of losing my ability to plug my headphones into my interface.
I'm hoping ya'll can help me come up with a software solution.
