Tonex pedal connection in amp

Hello All !,
With the Tonex Pedal, is it best to run it straight through the amp, or go through the effects loop. I have a BOSS Katana Artist MK II.

Best practice would be to turn off any amp simulation on the Katana (and turn off cab emulation if you are using an amp+cab on the TONEX Pedal) and plug into the Katana input. Otherwise you'd be running an amp+cab into another amp+cab which typically does not lead to pleasing results.
