Sound quality difference on Tonex pedal?

Received my tonex pedal super super fast from IK and I love it. However whenever I am using it as an interface instead of live mode I notice a difference in the sound quality. It appears slightly harsher and dirtier in the higher frequencies. Is anybody else noticing this or am I more insane than usual? Lol

Watch your input trim (under global)of the pedal, maybe it’s too high.

Yes I watched a video about that today. I will check.

i tried lowering the trim but still have the same issue that I can't figure out. So I recorded it straight in to Logic and all I am doing is changing the operation from live to interface with the same preset and you can hear the difference.

I am not IK Support nor do I use TONEX Pedal as an interface and I do not use Logic. Sorry, IK Support will be the experts in this matter. Thanks.

Great, you're welcome. By habit I rapid-scrolled to the bottom before I remembered they are categorized but luckily TONEX is near enough the end though I can understand that layout/sorting can also be confusing. Glad you have found it now.

OK support reached back to me and to switch between live and interface mode besides switching in the menu you also have to make sure you are bypassed on the pedal. now the sound the same. In the future could we make it so that when we are using it as an interface to check tone models from tone.net and we are in interface mode that it bypasses the pedal? It might save some confusion? just my 2 cents.

I found it is best to use a separate interface and the TONEX pedal just as a "sound generator.

Yes that is what i was doing but didn't know the you had to bypass the pedal to use the interface to sample tonenet models. But now I do. lol
