Tonex modelling with a mic seems impossible

We must set the input level from the mic to keep the test recording in the yellow, but it goes from grey to red on the same input setting. How are we meant to set it right?

Hi M1ckavoidant - for all my models I just get the meter to peak somewhere around the top of the yellow section and then go with it. Works fine for me.

Odds are that you probably have too much swing in your low end.. what kind of tone are you going for?
