Amlitube 4 and Amplitube Slash

Hello,

I'm a bit confused by the different products. I want to buy Amplitube Slash and I'm wondering if I need to buy an Amplitube 4 license first. I see AmpliTube slash in custom shop for $59.99 and Amplitube 4 for $149.99 so there is a big difference.

Hi duraid and welcome to the forum.

Firstly, I would suggest that you change your username to something other than your email address. Nefarious characters and bots may harvest your email and add you to spam lists.

And so to your question:

AmpliTube Slash is an add-on pack, but you don't need to buy the full AT4 version to use it. It will run inside the free AmpliTube CS version, although without some of the bells and whistles of the full version.

However, depending on what other IK software you own, you may be eligible for the cross grade price for AmpliTube MAX as part of the NAMM Slam. This will give you the full version of AT4 plus AT Slash and a whole host of other bits of gear for a very discounted price.
