No sound out of Amplitube 4

It seems like every time I come back to Amplitube there are problems getting sound out of it but I can't work out what I'm doing wrong.

I'm running it on a MacBook Air with the latest version of OSX. I have the settings on the laptop and within Amplitube set to iRig HD2 and the laptop is showing some input signal but nothing is registering within Amplitube.

The light goes green on the iRig when I play anything and I have volume turned up on my guitar, on the side of the iRigHD, the input level, output level, Master, the amp its set to and I have FX and R selected on the channel.

There are no FX added that could restrict the signal but I am getting no sound out and nothing registering at the input level either.

Any thoughts on what I may be missing?

Had you checked the Privacy settings? You need to make sure that AT4 has access to the Microphone in Mojave. Counter intuitive I know, but it will allow audio to pass through your iRig HD2.

Just messing about with this now and if I switch it to Input 2 at the bottom left I get sound but not with Input 1?

After updating AT4 to version 4.10 on my Macbook i was unable to get any input signal.
Turns out enabling mic acces in privacy settings does the trick!

First turn on mic in Apple menu as explained above

In AT4 settings select " built in microphone" > accept > acces settings again > select wanted interface > accept > DONE!
