Cubase isn't reacting to fade handles with AmpTube 4 Inserte

I've broken it down to it not seeing fade handles when the amp in Amp4 is on, or a pedal with drive on it is engaged.

It's as if there is zero fading occurring at all. Also won't read the gain setting of an audio event itself.


What am I missing???
