I downloaded Amplitube 4 onto my Alienware R5, and connected my guitar via my Focusrite Scarlett Solo.
When playing, I had a latency of about half a second. I read a few posts, and tried to change the buffer size to below 64 as suggested, but minimum option was 256.
In the 'Technology' option on the settings dialog, I had four options:
Windows Audio
Windows Audio (Exclusive Mode)
Direct Sound
ASIO
Windows Audio was selected, with the Focusrite driver.
I tried changing to Direct Sound, but it was very, very glitchy (barely recognisable as a guitar).
I tried switching to ASIO, but I got no sound (I have the latest ASIO4All driver).
I tried switching to Windows Audio (Exclusive Mode), and got no sound.
I then tried to switch back to my original setting of Windows Audio (not the exclusive mode), but the option has gone!
I shut down Amplitube and rebooted, but the option has not come back.
I now get no sound no matter what setting I choose.
Anyone have any ideas?
