Scarlet 3rd Gen can't hear through amplitube 5

I have a problem regarding amplitube 5. I want it to function but the problem is that it doesn't give any sound out of it. I tried all the input and output configurations and I still don't get any sound of it.

What can I do?

Try to swap input channels 1 and 2 (2 left, 1 right). That happened to me with the Solo 3rd gen.

Yep, first step to try is what @adridev suggested.

Once you've done that, let us know if a) it worked and b) if it didn't, can you at least see any input or output activity on AT5's meters in the GUI.

after a LOT of running around and trying all kinds, the latest update of focusrite control for my scarlett solo 3rd gen and and a retstart worked, i now have sound in standalone!

I've done what you said to do, and even still I don't have any sound out of amplitube 5, but at least I can see the input and output activity on AT5 meters in the GUI.

Ok, so this is a fairly good sign in that the input from the Scarlett is working and going through AT5, you're just not hearing it.

Can you tell us how you are monitoring the output please. Are you using headphones or speakers plugged into the line outputs of the Scarlett?

Phones, nothing is on the output, and I just hear my clean guitar, but I'm using a distortion amp.

So it sounds to me like you are just hearing the direct sound.

What happens if you press the "Direct Monitor" button on the top right of the Scarlett?
