TONEX CAB - Dead on Arrival

My cab also arrived DOA. I purchased through Sweetwater, and they are taking care of picking it up from my house, and replacing it. It’s too bad but it was my luck of the draw.
My concern is, is this an engineering failure or shipping damage? My box is not damaged.This was the second order Sweetwater received, (from what I was told). If it’s an engineering failure shouldn’t they all be repaired ?

IK will assess the issue when we get the unit back. There is a very small percentage failure rate so far, there isn't a global engineering issue that we've seen.

That’s good to know. My replacement is expected Thursday and I’m really looking forward to it arriving.

I also have a Tonex cab that arrived yesterday DOA. I’ve contacted support and hopefully we’ll get it resolved soon. I was hoping to use it in a gig this weekend. Kind of disappointed.

IK took care of mine fast, and I had a replacement in a few days. Along with the new one, they included a shipping label to send back the original one that didn't work.

My cab after month just burn out during practive.
It turned off and I have seen smoke coming under knobs.

Now, I am waiting for replacement. Nice begining....

Sorry to hear that, that is definitely not the normal behavior. The IK team is already on it and you'll have a replacement as soon as possible. I know it is disappointing but you'll be rocking again in no time.
