Hi there, I'm not sure if anyone else had the same problem I have when updating to version 1.9.1 this afternoon (using a Mac on Sonoma 16.6.1).
I have a Tonex Pedal and a Tonex One. Before starting the update, I backed up my user library, and both pedals.
I ran the update through Tonex Editor, and updated Tonex Max through IK Product Manager. But after the update, I tried to open the Tonex App (not Editor). Upon opening it said:
"WARNING Invalid Tone Model GUI."
With the only option being to click OK.
After clicking, I got a new message:
"WARNING Tone Model cannot be found or loaded!"
Again, with only an OK button to proceed.
After clicking through these, the app loaded, but my list of Tone Models was completely empty.
Fortunately, as mentioned above, I made a backup of my user library. So my first step was to restore that.
Upon doing so, all my tone models came back, however:
1) All of my User Preset folders have been deleted. Now, the only 2 User Preset folders that show up in either Tonex App or Tonex Editor are the Factory Presets v1 and Factory Presets v2 folders.
Strangely, this only affected the Presets side of the app - all my User Folders in the Tone Model side of the app have been retained.
2) Absolutely ALL of my favourites have been wiped. I can click the Favourites option in both the Tone Model Browser and in the Presets Browser, but both of them return 0 results.
It does not appear to have deleted my own saved presets, however losing my favourites and folders is definitely a huge pain.
Before I make any other edits to the app (like tryin to rebuild my folders) does anyone have any idea how I could possibly get these back? Is this information saved in a directory somewhere when doing the Library backup?
Thanks for your help.
