Ok, I run windows 10, i5 processor, 16 GB RAM. DAW-Cakewalk. I bought Amplitube 5 SE in 2021 for $99. I also bought some more ampsims. It worked perfectly. Also, I've donloaded tons of other plugins with no issues. On the IK site they offered a free upgrade to Amplitube version 5.10.2. The download was "successful" and evrything seemed fine. Cakewalk recognized it & said it was working properly. But as soon as I tried it, I got error messages: "The following vst plug-in failed to load (80004002) c:\programfiles\commonfiles\vst3\amplitube5.vst3" Worse yet, I have so many projects that use amplitube and none of them will load. I've contacted IK support, but still waiting for a reply after a week.I understand they're busy! But I have friends and clients and I'm desperate to get this fixed, so I'm reaching out in all directions.I'm more of a player than a computer expert- I'm not sure how to undo the upgrade. I'd be happy to have it back as it was, I don't really need the upgrade. Little late now! I'm afraid that if try something without advice, I might make things worse.
Any help or ideas would be So appreciated.
Thanks
