Refurbished Tonex pedal and registration

Hi, I might have the chance to buy a refurbished Tonex pedal from a commercial vendor.
I assumed someone bought it and returned it back.
I am still a little bit reluctant because I might not have accessed to the previous buyer of the pedal to ask him transferring the license to my account (in case he has registered the product for himself).
What can I do in this case ? Thank you.

The commercial vendor has not replied to my question.

Who is the vendor? The authorized dealers should know what to get from the original buyer or how to contact us for the proper information to be able to sell a second-hand pedal.

That would be one of those online shops e.g. galaxus.de or otto.de. I doubt that they are authorized dealers, or am I wrong?
I would not be concerned if it were e.g. Thomann.

They would definitely need to have the original owner provide the serials for the pedal and the two pieces of software, the process is free and basically one-click in their IK User Area so it shouldn't be a huge issue to have done that.
