editing stomp boxes post amp or amp fx loop

why cant I open or enlarge stomp boxes post amp or in fx loop like I can with the stomps in front of the amp?

The FX loop acts more like a rack effects area. If you want to edit a pedal you click on the EDIT button first. To get back you click on any of the black area surrounding the pedal. If you're asking WHY does it work this way, I don't have an answer. If it helps to see the process here's a YT Short I made a little while ago about this.
