Question about Custom Shop & Tonex CS

I'm a registered user of AmpliTube 5, installed of course with IK Product Manager. In Product Manager there are other free downloads available, most of which I understand and don't need/have the space for but... Should I install Custom Shop and the Tonex CS as well? I'm thinking maybe. Do I need Custom Shop to purchase single amp/effects models as primarily a bass player I'm mostly interested in select models, not entire collections? And to be honest I'm not quite sure what Tonex is/how it's different from AmpliTube but they sure seem to be connected. Any advice/thoughts to help an old guy out?
