Hi,
for context, I run my Tonex pedal in live mode and feed the output to my interface (run at 48KHz since Tonex pedal can't and Rocksmith is stubborn about 48KHz) and my monitor, also run the dry signal to the interface. All components on single power strip and run through Behringer HD400, pedals on an isolated power supply. I have no ground loops or hum, just this turn-on pop.
Signal path is:
bass --> boss-tu-3 (bypass) --> TONEX --> HD400 --> interface --> PC, and
bass --> boss tu-3 (output) --> Compressor --> HD400 --> interface --> PC
the monitor is connected to the headphone jack on the TONEX
Whenever I turn on my Tonex pedal I get a turn on-pop on my interface and monitor. Disconnect monitor, pop on interface. disconnect interface, pop on monitor. disconnect input cable, pop anyways.
Is this just to be expected? Would it damage my interface?
