Amplitube 5 keeps telling me to upgrade to Version 5?

I am trying to check out the new X-Gear Pedals in Amplitube 5. I have Version 5.4 installed; everything is authorized and current. I need to use the stereo routing to send a synth track through one of the virtual pedals. Every time I click on that, I get a message telling me, "this feature is only available in Amplitube Version 5". Say what??? I am using Version 5.

Any thoughts?

You would need an authorized version of AmpliTube 5, SE, or MAX. If you are using the CS (free) version there would be features to which you do not have access.

This is F%&^%$#%$ confusing!
Do I have Aplitude 5 or not?
It is asking me to update and when I click update it takes me to an empty shopping cart!!!
I am getting tired of this crap!!!
I sent a support ticket... never heard back!
Do I pay the full price for v5 or is there an update price for owners of v4?
Can't seem to find any info on the website
