No sounds with the amps or fx

I've got a sound coming from the AXE I/O into the speakers but it's just a raw guitar sound.
Selecting any pedals or amps doesn't have any effect on the sound at all.

I've tried playing around with the controller and the settings but nothing changes at all. Spotify works fine with the Axe so I know there isn't a problem with the signal out via USB either.

Any ideas?
