I have an FCB1010 that I have setup with just switches 1-4 sending program change messages (I disabled PC in all the other switches). Now I would like to use those other switches for things like turning an effect on/off.
I have set switch 5 to send a control message. I then go into my effects chain and right click on the power switch for a particular effect and I end up with a "learn bypass" item, and I select that and hit switch 5, at which point the "waiting for midi" dialog goes away. If I now right click on the on/off switch I see both "Delete" and "Bypass: Midi CC 66" which tells me it is assigned properly.
However, wwitch 5 will now only turn the effect on and not off.
My goal here is to be able to control a couple of effects in a preset without having to create a whole new preset. Is this even possible?
