Sound delay between presets

Hi, i noticed a strange problem which is a bit hard to describe. When i switch between presets which are very different, different amp module for example. I notice a slight delay for the total preset to come in. If that makes sense. So there is sound, but it takes about a second for the preset to “switch” on every nuance of the preset. This does not occur when using the same amp model. Does anyone experience something similar?
