running windows 10 version 20h2 build 19042.685
my focusrite scarlett asio driver is selected in the control panel along with the appropriate left/right inputs. Sometimes the i/o gain sliders on the gui show signal levels and sometimes they don't but either way, sound doesn't come out.
Opening the vst3 in reaper and the i/o works fine, sounds great.

Confirmed:
Mac 27", Aurora(n), OS X Big Sur, Logic X 11.0
Sound input passes through all parts of the the system (Computer, Logic, Interface)
When Amplitube 5 is launched it always presents a box to select an interface.
After the interface and channels are selected...
None of the input signal is present within Amplitube in both plugin and standalone versions.
BTW: input channels used are not 1 or 2.
