Amplitube 4 stereo and panning question?

I am running AmpliTube 4 standalone and I am wondering why I am unable to control the pan knob that is in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. I would like to use 2 amps with one panned to the right and one panned to the left. The pan knob is locked in at 12 o'clock and can't be adjusted.
