Micro Monitor Left Tweeter Cutting Out

For a while now the left tweeter on my pair of Micro Monitors is cutting out. It would return to normal when I give the monitor a slap, but cut out some time later after listening on a good volume. Do you think I can fix this if I can find a replacement tweeter and just swap it out or is it done for good?
